Telemedicine-based Addiction and Pain Management Physician's Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Must have a valid Montana state medical license. 

The not-for-profit Odyssey Program was created in 2012 by a Montana medical group to provide medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders, chronic pain management, and related mental health concerns. An applicant need not provide mental health services if not within their scope of practice, although mental health FNPs are very welcome to apply if their interest extends to addiction and pain management.  The practice treats referred patients statewide through telemedicine with necessary in-person services such as counseling provided by local community providers. All patients are required to have a local primary care provider. We are recruiting additional Physicians’ Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join us in expanding our services.   We are a private practice physician-led group started in 2012. Provider engagements are structured as flexible Independent Contractors and we hope for long-term associations. Compensation will vary depending upon patient load, which is at your discretion. If compensation were expressed as it would be for an FTE, it would rank at 95th percentile for mid-level providers in Montana.   This position can be part-time or be expanded to full-time. It allows you to decide your own hours, working from home through telemedicine. There are no on-call requirements, and our central office handles patient issues when you are not scheduled to work. Our clinic has a full-time Board-certified Internist as its Medical Director, who practices with the team and who is available to help with training for those new to this area of practice and with clinical assistance when needed.
