We encourage Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to submit a proposal and share their expertise on a topic of their choice.

Credits Offered
The number of credits will be determined by the number of sessions that are offered and will be determined after the proposals and acceptance of sessions are completed. We hope to have this completed by Dec. 1. Our goal is 16-18 Hours.

The Montana Academy of Physician Assistants is pleased to present its annual CME Conference live in Missoula, Montana.This event aims to offer informative, current, and relevant information for Advanced Practice Clinicians devised to stimulate thinking through didactic lectures, lively debate, complex case studies, and engaging workshops.
Invited faculty will present cutting-edge information on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of common conditions, diseases, and problems.
The audience for the conference is physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals.

She worked 10 years doing all the things at a critical access hospital in the Sierra Mountains in CA after graduating from PA school. Then she worked a variety of jobs in EM, Internal Medicine, Student Health (U of Nevada, Reno). Tara has been doing Hospital Medicine since 2009, the last nine years at St. Patricks Hospital. For fun before she moved back to MT she had a concierge practice as a side hustle which was about 85% MHT with some PCOS patients too. Fun factoids are that she has 2 amazing boys (who are now grown men); She financed all those degrees by working as a wildland firefighter for 10 years (her last 4 as a Smokejumper); and she take my postmenopausal strength training way too seriously and she is the state Champion as well as the Pan American Games Champion this year, with a 5th at the World Championships in Finland. -

🔷NCCPA Update: Focus on recertification, new CAQs and research on Montana PAs

1.0 CE CreditNCCPA will provide detailed information on the recertification options for PAs- the PANRE and the PANRE-LA. We will give an update for PAs in the 2029 recertification cohort, review application deadlines and assessment options. We will also provide a brief review the CAQ program (highlighting the new Occupational Medicine and Geriatric Medicine CAQs). In addition, we will describe the various ways PAs contribute to the work of NCCPA, how we communicate with PAs and other resources available to Montana PAs.

• Describe the CAQ program and the new CAQs (Geriatric Medicine) available for PAs

She has served as a PA Program Chair and Director and has practiced in emergency medicine and primary care. She has served as an epidemiologist and has published research on the PA workforce, global health and issues affecting diversity in PA program admissions. Alicia earned her Masters of PA Studies degree and her doctoral degree in epidemiology from the University of Iowa.

🔷Dermatology Cases from Rural Kenya
Charlotte L. Kutsch, MD, FAAD Dr. Charlotte Kutsch is a Board-certified Dermatologist specializing in General Dermatology. Dr. Kutsch graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed an Immuno-Dermatology Fellowship and a Dermatology Residency at the University of Colorado, where she also served as Chief Resident in Dermatology. Dr. Kutsch is currently Clinical Assistant Professor at the Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine at Rocky Vista University, Billings, Montana where she is involved with Public Health relating to Dermatology. Dr. Kutsch has volunteered overseas in the practice of Dermatology with multiple trips to Kenya and Cambodia. Her presentation today reflects patient encounters experienced in June 2024 in a month-long trip to rural Kenya.
